Editorial rules
Six rules. The first is the one that matters most.
One · no medical advice
We write about software and process, never about what to do clinically.
Where a question crosses that line, we say so and point to the clinician.
Two · no affiliation
We have no relationship with any provider, insurer, platform or app.
Nothing here is sponsored and nothing is recommended.
Three · general, not specific
We describe what is common across systems rather than one provider's menus.
Where rules differ by country or region, we say that rather than pretending otherwise.
Four · visible dates
Every page carries a publication and a last-checked date.
Health systems change their software often and the date is part of the information.
Five · open corrections
Reported errors are checked and confirmed ones are fixed in the text.
The revision date moves; nothing is edited silently.
Six · no commercial influence
No advertising, sponsorship or affiliate links.
No analytics and no external resources of any kind.
If something here no longer matches how a system works, please tell us.
